Project Manager
Project Mercury is a major multi-year programme of Change for the Investment Bank that requires business process and technology Change to be implemented F2B through the Investment Bank. Changes are required to multiple front office trade booking Systems and the cross product systems in the Control Functions (Operations, Finance and Risk). The Mercury Programme will deliver business benefits that include Regulatory, Revenue and RWA / Capital Efficiency. As such It has senior stakeholders from across the IB at the most senior levels.

A Project Manager is required to own the planning and associated project management activities for the delivery of complex Change in Q4 2011 and 1H2012 in support of the identified business benefits.
You will be responsible for:

• Working with a Release Manager to assemble and own a F2B Delivery Plan that comprises multiple pieces of change from FO and Control Functions
• Holding business and IT Project Managers and IT Delivery Teams accountable to commitments through a matrix style organisation
• Briefing Senior Management on progress against the F2B delivery plans
• Exposing Risks and Issues associated with the delivery plans and holding individuals accountable for resolutions

You will interact with:
• Stakeholders at the most senior levels of the Investments Bank (Managing Directors and Board Members)
• Senior Business and Technology teams F2B through the organisation
• Members of the Mercury Programme Team that will support the execution of plans and resolution of Risks and Issues
• People and teams across the Investment Bank both business and IT
Qualifications: Bachelors

• Have experience of project management through a matrix style organisation where complex change has been successfully delivered
• Be highly organised and able to articulate progress against plans on a day-2-day basis
• Understand how to distil complex plans and dependency chains into formats that are easily understandable and track-able
• Ideally have an understanding of Securities Products, the Trade Life Cycle and the work of the Control Functions
• Be delivery focussed and relentless in the pursuit of the business benefits associated with the programme
• Responsible for assisting the project manager with the planning and prioritization of the delivery of the functionality
• Responsible for working with the testing team to ensure that the application meets the quality standards
• Must possess good understanding of the full project life cycle and of change management processes
• Good experience in supporting end-users during UAT and implementation of the solution
• Be the recognised expert on user interface and middleware tools, technologies, technical design and development approach within Credit Risk IT
• Provide coaching, technical leadership, training and product knowledge to the team
