High Risk Advisor, BBC Safety
We’re recruiting a High Risk Advisor to join our team, based in London. This is a vital role, providing advice to BBC programme makers involved in high risk activities. The BBC Safety, High Risk Team provides advice to programme makers deploying to hostile or dangerous environments, undertaking high risk programme making activities such as covert investigations, and covering high risk events such as natural disasters.

With proven experience of analysis and assessment at corporate level and above, you’ll have a track record of supplying security advice to mitigate threats to personnel and infrastructure, in high threat environments. You'll also have extensive experience of covert operations. In addition to supporting the deployment of safety advisors in the field and overseeing liaison with them, you’ll contribute to safety planning and logistics, while acting as the main point of contact between Newsgathering and the wider BBC Safety Team.
