As a result of a reorganisation within Group Business Development, two VP-level opportunities have arisen in the Offset and Operations Group. Reporting to SVP (Offset & Operations), these are exciting and challenging opportunities to make a real contribution to the Company's business winning efforts. The roles involve lead-responsibility for all GBD-led offset activity in the regions specified above. A key challenge will be to maintain the Company's strong track record of delivery against its offset commitments, in an increasingly competitive environment. The post holders will manage small teams and work closely with colleagues across the Company in order to: develop innovative offset solutions that enhance the prospects of success in our key campaigns; build and maintain positive relationships with key offset stakeholders, including customers, partners and suppliers; and, ensure that the Company delivers against its existing offset commitments. An essential element of this is to ensure that all offset activities are undertaken in line with the Company's offset policy and governance framework. As a Vice - President, Offset your main responsibilities will involve: Actively contributing to the development of offset policy, together with supporting procedures, guidance and training Ensuring the effective implementation of offset governance and approvals requirements within GBD and across the Company Developing and maintaining an understanding of customer offset organisations, stakeholders, policies and procedures. Developing coherent offset strategies that address existing and future offset commitments in key markets, in conjunction with colleagues across the business Working with suitable partners and suppliers to identify, develop and implement individual offset projects Ensuring offset opportunities and challenges are addressed fully in Integrated Campaign Teams and other major campaign support activities Managing the successful delivery of existing offset commitments, maintaining a close dialogue with internal and external stakeholders Contributing to the effective management and performance of the Offset & Operations group and wider Group Business Development Community as required Managing and developing the GBD offset team

The ideal candidate will have credibility and excellent management capability, generating confidence and co-operation across the business and with other Head Office functions. They will have strong inter-personal and communication skills, engaging effectively at all levels with government and business customers. He / She will be highly motivated, with the energy and imagination to developing coherent and innovative offset strategies and projects. He / She will be adept at interpreting and implementing complex internal and external policy and procedural requirements. The successful candidate is also likely to have significant experience of supporting the delivery of programmes in an international setting, together with an appreciation of the key requirements and challenges of offset programmes. This role involves extensive travel - approximately 1-2 weeks per month. For the Vice President - Offset East, travel will be primarily to the Middle East, Asia Pacific and India. For the Vice President - Offset West, travel will be primarily to Europe and America. |
