Business Aligned Analytics (BAA) is part of the global markets analytics group and one of Deutsche Bank’s highest profile business areas. As part of a functional redesign, BAA have created a team focused on the ability to provide meaningful financial analysis to senior management. The overall purpose of the role is to assist in the development and operation of a leading analysis function, providing timely and insightful data to senior business and finance management

The candidate will be expected to work closely with others in the BAA team to gather business requirements and manage the relationship between Analytics and the business, with particular responsibility for ensuring business requirements are clear and agreed, the impact on the business process is understood and managed with a responsibility to understand and communicate change relevant to the business.

Key Reponsibilities:
As a BAA Global Market Equities Analyst you will be responsible for:
• Assisting with the definition and delivery of a book of work that provides key stakeholders with timely information covering performance metrics, revenues, costs and balance sheet data.
• Providing analysis to assist stakeholders in business decision making.
• Assisting the central reporting teams with product focused information (and insight) to external stakeholders such as regulators and the investor community.
Qualifications: Bachelors
Accounting cert.
Experience: 5 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

• A qualified accountant
• Degree standard educated.
• Highly numerate and proficient in the effective representation of information.
• An excellent communicator and have strong issue management skills.
• Experience in finance and accounting applications.
• Experience of putting together management reports in a global and complex environment.
• Experience of Investment Banking.
• The ability to utilise data and producing quantitative and qualitative reports to support strategic and business planning process.
• Knowledge of debt related products.
• Experience of delivering ‘value added’ analysis to senior management.
• Excellent analytic & problem solving skills.
