Middle Office role for the Credit Derivatives Trading desk, axed on
- to provide assistance in the daily operational management of the Credit Desk (Derivatives Credit products and Bonds)
- To control the quality and accuracy of the booking
- to be involved in specific re-booking projects affecting and impacting the desk and business which will take priority for resolution over daily support role
Main responsibilities
•Booking of Credit Default Swaps, Asset Swaps, Cash Trades. (Banks & Financials, Corporate and Prop Desks- 20 traders/ 15 sales )
•Monitoring CDS curves, updating spreadsheet pricers.
•Post Trade Date: follow-up and maintenance of CDS, Swaps and Cash Trades (Modifications, assignments, unwinds, novations…).
•Liaising with brokers /direct with the sales force .
•Daily Controls and reconciliation’s.
•Generate, update, issue and check termsheets for CDS
•Troubleshooting system and P/L issues
•Broker confirmation and Fee reconciliation
•Monitoring static data issues
•Ad-hoc tasks generated by the Trading Desk
•Follow-up events on deals
•STP following
•Participate in new F.O. systems testing, and other projects
•Produce statistics on CDS/Bonds volumes.
•Supervision and daily processing on the Credit Derivatives side, heavy-duty database management (negotiations processing, transfers and deals re-allocation), controlling P&L impacts and ensuring a risk-free operational processing of the Credit teams deals.
•Queries solving and problems follow-up raised by FO and BO, liasing when necessary with all ad-hoc services and departments (Support IT, business line management…) in order to provide a smooth and efficient support.
•Regular process reviews and new procedures set-up when appropriate. Controls and reporting, implementation of ad-hoc projects (designed from London or Paris). Cross training and assistance for other team members.
