Therapy Specialist Dermatology
- Under the direction of the Area Manager , to maximise the sales and prescribing opportunities for Company products / portfolio within the defined territory, by operating at PCT, PBC / Secondary care level whilst cascading influencers into primary care
- To promote, in accordance with the promotional Campaign policy of the Company as defined at National and Regional Sales Meetings, the Company's products in a manner which is both persuasive & incisive yet responsible and professional in outlook and according to the ABPI Code of Practice.
- To cover customer’s segments at a coverage and frequency including peer to peer selling as per that of the business needs across own territory Prescribing customers would include Target G.Ps , Nurses, Pharmacists, KEE’s and Hosp specialists. Market access customers would include SHA’s, PCO’s, LHB’s PBC’s, Foundation Trusts, Private Providers,

Key Responsibilities:
• To negotiate at hospital level on formularies and guidelines and to disseminate to health care professionals through effective meetings
• Using reports provided by the Company, to monitor own and competition sales performance by PCT territory
And brick in order to identify further sales opportunities for Company products, and reflect such via Business Plan.
• To develop, facilitate and attend in organizing Medical Symposia, Advocacy group meetings, & Exhibitions To initiate
meeting in a box to all Targeted meetings
• To demonstrate product and portfolio /selling with NHS / Hospital pharmacists to maximize sales and contracts
• To convey the products features and benefits accurately, clearly and persuasively, to articulate ideas verbally and in writing and through presentations in the styles appropriate for different audiences and or situations consistent with the marketing plan.
• Contribute to the development of Key External Experts in order to increase the prescribing of Products through advocacy across territory boundaries
• Builds effective relationships with key customer influencers to deepen insights which are applied to strategic and tactical planning process. In this way the role holder will act as the ‘face of GSK’ for many highly significant customers whose influence is often widespread
• Monitors own performance and the external environment throughout the year, taking decisions and corrective action as necessary to ensure business goals are met
• Responsible for ensuring all budgets for meetings are optimized with a focus on profit and ROI
• Deliver efficient scheduling, preparation, management and recording of activities
• Demonstrate highly proficient selling and negotiation skills
• Participate in appropriate meetings, advisory boards and exhibitions
• Organise effective local meetings and advisory boards
- Sales and market share growth over said products as defined
- Being proactive in, and committed to developing personal skills, knowledge and behaviors
- Ability to develop relationships with all internal and external customers as well key stakeholders
- Take on projects, when required, to ensure National business needs are met
- Display high performance behaviors at all time

Qualifications: Bachelors
Other Certification (ABPI qualified)

• Basic Requirements:

• Post holder must be very competent in following software: word, Lotus notes, Excel, Esp., Apple.
Key skills: managing multiple priorities, highly organized, good communicator, proactive approach, small scope project management
• Sales experience, large/complex meeting organization experience
• ABPI qualified
• Full driving license
