The Technical Solutions Architect within the Barclays Corporate Technology office Creates technology solutions to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures. You will be responsible for small or lower-complexity requests or works in support of more experienced Solutions Architect on larger or more complex initiatives. You will provide input to the development of systems strategy and plan for the supported business area.
· Creates technology solutions at an initial level of detail, to meet business requirements for medium to large scale projects as defined through the SDLC, in line with Group IT Strategies and Architectures:
- Responsible for end-to-end solutions delivery
- Technical solutioning and architecture development
- Adding clarity to business requirements,
- Translating business requirements into functional and non functional requirements,
- Supporting project definition,
- Helping to identify common or duplicative needs across SBU, Cluster & GRCB
· Acts as the lead person responsible for delivering solutions design for projects managers
· Challenges business requirements and demands to ensure high quality candidate solutions are created and considered
· Supports the creation of an appropriate IT Strategy for the relevant business area |
