The eBay Buyer Protection team is responsible for increasing customer loyalty by turning bad post-sale experiences into good ones. The Senior Program Manager will provide execution leadership and oversight for highly impactful, cross-organizational, buyer protection initiatives in Europe. This includes expansion of eBay Buyer Protection into other European countries such as Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. Must have demonstrated qualifications to lead, drive, manage, plan, organize, report, identify/mitigate risk and direct all phases of the program and associated projects - from inception through completion. This position reports to the San Jose based Global Program Director for eBay Buyer Protection.
- Creates entire program plans for European initiatives including establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules. - Develops and manages end-to-end process flows; ensures consistency and compliance. - Employs philosophy of “operational excellence” with focus on delivering of outstanding customer service, driving continuous improvements, and process transformation. - Manages stakeholder expectations and communications while providing oversight for issue resolution in a matrix management organization. - Builds relationships within all areas of eBay and will gain exposure to, and knowledge of, product management, customer support, engineering, marketing, finance, and legal. Is a leader in driving best practice solutions based on past experience, research, and visionary thinking. - Implements and improves program methodologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail are critical in this role. |
