SPSS Predictive Analytics Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect works as a member of an integrated team in the definition and deployment of predictive analytic solutions. This individual provides technology solution leadership to ensure that the predictive analytic solution design, implementation, and end results meet the business requirements with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and on time delivery. The Enterprise Architect also imparts the vision of the solution as part of the deployment team so the solution can be realized. The Enterprise Architect is involved early in the sales cycle as an integral team member of the account development and management team to provide technology solution vision in the deployment of SPSS solutions across a broad spectrum of products in the pursuit of solving client business problems. This individual is responsible for ensuring the technology solution vision addresses and aligns business, analytics, data, application, and technical architecture appropriately. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for ensuring the creation of successful enterprise solutions, which solve a customer’s business problems from inception through execution. For example, for a solution focused on integrating predictive analytics into an insurance company’s claims process for fraud detection, the enterprise architect would be responsible for ensuring predictive analytics – for example, a score – can be integrated into the claims system, the business process, and potentially into the call centre or any other business driven system. Of particular interest, as clients embark on the “Predictive Journey,” is the ability to work at a senior business and technical level to understand customer expectations and ensure proof of value is clearly established within the enterprise both from a business architecture point of view as well as IT at an early stage.

• Ownership of the enterprise architecture development lifecycle for major client in the Predictive Analytical Journey.
• Leading one or more architecture development assignments across several clients. Working closely with the client (business and technical staff) and from other suppliers.
• Ensuring that the solutions, data and technology aspects of the enterprise architecture are driven by the business goals of the organization and that the requirements driving the overall architecture are managed consistently and effectively.
• Understanding the immediate/tactical and strategic benefits of adopting a consistent architectural approach within the context of the client’s business to help the client justify his Predictive Analytical investment.
• Assessing the requirements and presenting architectural recommendations that are in line with the strategic vision for the enterprise and wider best practice.
• In collaboration with Predictive Analytic Solutions Architects and others, develop best architectural practices; ensure repeatability, quality, and consistency.
• Drive the analysis, understanding and re-design of business process within SPSS/IBM customers—develop recommendations and best practices that can be leveraged across customers and tailored for specific industries.
