The Solution Sales Engagement Manager Software Products- Field Services (SSEM) participates in a team selling environment and where necessary works on assigned named accounts or accounts in an assigned geographical territory. In his capacity, the SSEM will assist in identifying and qualifying opportunities to support the execution of the account strategy and focus on the generation of revenue for Field Services Software Products. In addition, the SSEM will facilitate and maintain successful relationships with SAP customer, which will be measured by their reference ability and satisfaction levels. In addition to working through existing CEM's and Account Executives (AE) in the installed base space, the incumbent is expected to pursue net new opportunities elsewhere. This is not a "farmer" account manager role but a pure "hunter" sales role. The role reports to the Head of Field Services Software EMEA and dotted line to the Field Services Director UKI.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS - Focused on selling of Field Services Software Products: SAP Loadrunner by HP and SAP Quality Centre by HP, SAP TDMS, SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood, SAP Test Acceleration and Optimization (TAO), SAP Extended Diagnostics by CA Wily and SAP Enterprise Modeling by IDS Scheer in partnership with CEM's and AE's - Contributing to the roll-out of the RunSAP initiative and drive RunSAP services - Support the AE's in building strong customer relationships within the successful execution of SAP's Customer Engagement Cycle (CEL) - Facilitate customer satisfaction through the proper deployment of the appropriate SAP resources to successfully execute CEL - Attend and participate in customer team meetings, and communicate regularly with consulting staff to ensure customer satisfaction - Maintaining and managing business relationships with Partners relating to the above product portfolio - In co-ordination with AE and CEM relationships where they exist, identify, pursue and close sales opportunities through the successful execution of CEL - Provide accurate and timely updates to the CRM forecast pipeline system on an ongoing basis - Maintain appropriate levels of involvement in customer issues requiring resolution including invoices for license fees, maintenance, consulting and training - Plan and execute marketing events and demand generation activities - Take lead for FS Software UKI Business development |
