Research into a new generation of materials (principally degradable polymer filter products) is a key work area within Applied Research.
The Applied Research Materials, Sensory Technology & Science group is responsible for developing these technologies and products that meet this need. Typically, technology development starts in the laboratory and progresses to whatever scale is required to support the testing necessary to evaluate its effectiveness for degradability

•Professional/ Academic achievement in a relevant subject area up to 1st degree level or equivalent. •Skilled use and understanding of specialised and/or complex equipment/ methods. •Relevant technical experience resulting in a thorough understanding or working knowledge of concepts, principles, methods, processes or techniques. •We would expect someone who has been in the relevant industry for around 3-6 yrs to have and to be able to demonstrate that experience.
