Summary • The proposed role is of a professional nature, transversal within MARK/GEF and requiring specialized expertise in key finance areas (detailed below), along with senior-level relationships. • The key objectives of the mission will be : 1. to provide senior advice on an ETF project for institutional investors, in order to formulate a business plan for the Global Equity Flow teams and propose implementable action points. 2. To review the value proposition offered to institutional clients by Societe Generale Global Equity Flow (content & product) and propose a strategy for large asset managers and adapted to current market conditions and industry-wide challenges (regulation, operation risks, methodology, etc…)
Main responsibilities Senior Project Manager for the Global Equity Flow business
Degree of autonomy & Level of authority • The candidate will operate in an autonomous basis by leveraging the resources within the GEF organization and be in high-level contact with internal & outside counterparties, including institutional investors, sovereign funds & hedge funds. • The candidate will have access to the senior managers of the key business lines within GEF (Primarily Flow desk, Cash Equity Sales, Lyxor/MLP desk, Execution & Trading desk, Research Department) • The candidate will have access to business critical information in order to carry out his mission
Internal & external contacts • The Candidate will be in contact with key business managers within the GEF organization, as well as external counterparties, including institutional asset managers, sovereign funds, issuers…
Specific context • Context will be the high-paced environment of the Investment Bank and the Trading business and the competitive nature of the sell-side business model. • The transversal nature of the mission, as well as the senior-level access required also means that the context will be business critical and high-level.
• Based in London • Part-time role: 24 hours/week • Base salary: £20,000 (annual basis)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics • Knowledge of Investment Banking (Trading) world, as well as knowledge of large buy-side organization (Asset Management) • Knowledge of financial products, including complex or customized financial solutions for institutional investors. • Experience of transition management or ETF business (Issuer or User). • Experience of Sovereign Funds and asset management • International experience • Fluent English required. • Other languages a plus • Good general PC skills • Good communication skills • Management Skills • Operational Skills • Regulatory Skills • Communication Skills • Flexibility - Adaptability • Ability to make Decisions • Ability to Work Under Pressure • Analytical Skills • Initiative • Leadership Qualities • Teamwork |
