Equity Product Control forms part of the Risk Division, reporting to the Head of Wholesale Banking Risk. The team is responsible for economic P&L reporting and risk based commentary/analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting P&L in relation to the Equity and Property Derivatives trading desks. As part of the team's rotation policy, the candidate will also gain exposure to the Short Term Equity Financing and Global Structuring businesses.

To succeed you will need to have an understanding of market risks relating to Equity and /or Fixed Income trading, as well as a general awareness of other key risks within financial markets. Knowledge of complex/structured products would be beneficial but not essential. You’ll be able to demonstrate an ability to challenge and improve upon the efficiency and effectiveness of existing controls and operating procedures.
This role would suit someone already working within Product Control, Middle Office or Market Risk. |
