This role is responsible for all aspects of Marketplaces EUR transaction revenues (planning, analytics and business support/performance management), generated across all geographies and formats in Europe This is the key finance partner for the Head of the Marketplaces organisation in EUR, based in London (where the head of the EUR Region also sits). This role reports to the Marketplaces EU CFO, based in Bern. Core Responsibilities: key regular activities of the job Work closely with the EU Regional CFO, EUR General Manager and key business leaders (Marketplaces Head and his directs) to support and drive the success of the business Lead all financial and analytics aspects of EU transaction revenues (planning, analytics and business support/performance management, with an understanding of revenue accounting & accounting policy matters for financial reporting purposes) · Work with EUR F, P & A leader to communicate business performance to San José – Marketplaces Finance · Prepare all aspects of Revenue reporting for the Region – using standard scorecards and regular analysis and reporting · Lead Regional Business Performance Management (BPM) process – End to end view (including NPS & competitive benchmarking) of transaction revenue performance – weekly review and monthly meetings · Prepare regular and ad-hoc analysis to drive meaningful insights and business actions – this covers both the entire business performance as well as the different initiatives being undertaken in EUR Marketplaces (Seller, Buyer & Search) – reporting against key targets and metrics Support business strategy efforts and actively engage in direction setting discussions Work closely with other regional and corporate teams to ensure alignment in goals and consistency of financial as well as business support processes Improve key processes to balance quality, efficiency and employee job satisfaction Ensure a balance between the short-term and long-term perspectives of our business performance and outlook Manage a team of approximately 30 highly skilled employees, spread between Bern (revenue planning) and the analytics team (London, Prague & Dreilinden)

10+ years of business and leadership experience with a focus on financial planning, business strategy & support, analysis and related experiences to lead a geographically dispersed team of approximately 30 skilled professionals Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels within the organization Strong analytical skills and an ability to drive insights from diverse information sources Must be fluent in English (written & spoken), additional language skills are a plus University degree required MBA and/or professional certifications a plus Familiarity with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Pan European experience are a plus Energetic self starter with a passion for driving success |
