Cargill Flavor Systems has implemented a PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) application named OPTIVA.
Optiva optimizes our Customer Brief handling and creates an international platform for the R&D- and Flavor Creation. In order to support this strategic environment we are looking for a professional Business Analyst. The Candidate will be in charge of improving the application to the next level. Hereby the Business Analyst will be working closely with a wide range of departments cross our European offices, as well as the Cargill IT teams. He/She will capture the needs of the business and translate them for the technical team to implement.
The candidate will provide functional expertise in business process improvement on the processes covered by the application and the candidate will need to manage Business - IT related projects within Cargill Flavor Systems
50% Business Analyst Accountability :
* Serves as primary contact between the business and IT
* Identifies, assesses, defines and documents business requirements
* Creates and manages change requests, and manages the Key User Team
* Rolling out new changes into the business
* Recommending business priorities and advising the Governance team on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions.
* Project Management tasks, including planning and project delivery against predefined milestones
* Decides to request support from third party application support
* Manages the budget for change/project work incl internal support
* Interregional guardian of the Optiva template
30% Business Partnership:
* Facilitating sessions with the business to come up with the best solution
* Participate in and support process improvement initiatives
* Actively discussing with Management the trends and analysis done with the data out of Optiva
* First point of contact for interregional related issues and requests
20% People Management:
* Demonstrating Change Management capabilities to get things done in an international environment,
* Develop a network of key users,
* Provides leadership to other team members
Reporting Lines
* The Senior Business Analyst reports to the Regional Technical Director and via a dotted line to the BRM
* The Senior Business Analyst has no direct reports.
Budget Responsibility
* The Senior Business Analyst manages projects up to approx 500k USD based on approved commitment requests.
Location : Location could be Manchester, Amsterdam or Grasse with a strong preference for Grasse. |

* Good knowledge of current technologies platforms and system development and maintenance principles
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn
* Superior analytical and problem solving skills
