Extensive software development experience in C++ Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix and associated tool sets Scripting experience – Python, Perl Experience in design/build of large scale software platforms Working in a Continuous Integration environment Interest in and aptitude for troubleshooting and bug-fixing on large, business critical systems Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to estimate, plan and execute work according to agreed objectives in the context of a geographically diverse team Passion for the Internet industry and delivering a competitive product. Understanding of Internationalisation and Localisation issues Familiarity with database management systems – MySQL or similar Exposure to Yahoo! APIs such as YUI/YQL Distributed computing experience Experience in Geographic Information Systems Language skills
