The development of smokeless tobacco and future generation products which are consumer acceptable is a key deliverable of the Innovations Strategy.
The development and understanding of the smokeless arena, which ensure our products meets local and global regulations is a key part of the Business Strategy.
The success of the Portfolio will be built on creative thinking, consumer insights and extensive applied science
The smokeless and non-combustion fundamental science team within the Non-Combustible group are responsible for developing concepts, undertaking feasibility studies and development of fundamental understanding in non-combustible products (smokeless and novel devices) in order to assist the business in the development of non-combustible technologies.
This role will address and resolve the technical challenges of smokeless developments by application of technical skills and capabilities to build understanding and knowledge in the area of non-combustible and smokeless products. |

•Directly Relevant professional /Academic achievement equivalent to 1st Degree.
•Relevant technical experience resulting in a thorough knowledge of concepts, principles, methods, processes or techniques.
•We would expect someone who has been in the relevant industry for around 5-7 years to have and to be able to demonstrate that experience.
•Good awareness of technical developments in related field.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the following success factors;
•Smokeless projects are directed and delivered within budget, to plan and expected quality.
•Successful development and implementation of new or improved existing analytical methods, techniques or procedures.
•Key representative in interactions with laboratory or technical suppliers, industry colleagues and/or external scientific bodies.
•Write and support technical manuscripts for peer-review |
