Lead and manage the UK Entertainment and Devices Division (EDD) PC Sales team delivering the EDD PC strategy, with close collaboration with Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners Group (SMS&P), OEM, Consumer & Online (C&O) increasing reach, yield and market share penetration with Global Accounts and Managed retailers.
Maximise investment in channel by growing overall revenue of Interactive Entertainment and PC products including software (SW) and peripherals. With your team, proactively seek new and innovative ways of developing business through the multi channel strategies. Deliver sales in the region of c. $300m pa, in conjunction with the EDD group key retail partners through excellence in strategy planning, implementing and evolving leading edge marketing campaigns and sales promotions. Forecast and monitor performance of each of the targeted categories across the PC at retail landscape - constantly reviewing total performance against budget, plan and forecast. Direct and manage the use marketing budgets to deliver overall revenue.
Key Accountabilities Manage, lead and develop talent within the PC Sales team. Over achievement of customer revenue targets. Management and development of Microsoft relationship with key partners to MD level. Profitable management of product lifecycles. Maximum return on investment on promotional and marketing activity. Accurate forecasting and management of product inventory and rebate activity. Increase in Customer/Partner Experience ratings.
Key Success Criteria Increase of partner and staff satisfaction. Delivering partner excellence in conjunction with SMS&P/OEM/C&O Over achievement of EDD Revenue goals Over achievement on PC KPI’s - BOS attach (Business Online Services), Premium mix, Office/Mac attach Achievement of budgeted Revenue per licenses Increase in Retail Partner Customer & Partner Experience (CPE) scores. Effective & efficient Trade marketing and OPEX spend. |

Significant experience in Sales / Sales Management / Partner Management within the retail/consumer channel. Proven experience in running a retail/consumer channel to market with a team of direct reports. Proven track record of working with all types of retail and global account partners at a senior level.
Technical/Functional Skills Track record in successfully driving sales growth & effective marketing campaigns. Ability to communicate at board level, intellectualize strategic problems and deliver creative/innovative solutions for sustainable business performance. Must be able to use key Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills Strong sales management and virtual teaming skills High bandwidth and the ability to keep a raft of things running concurrently Experience of sector / industry knowledge Excellent interpersonal skills Good organisational skills and time management. Commercially and strategically aware.
