Working within Santander's thriving branch network, your role will be to provide inspirational leadership to teams across a region, through your relentless focus on service, sales management, coaching and development. While achieving great sales results through a clear and widely understood business plan will be a priority, leading and motivating a team of Area Managers and Flagship Managers will also be a key job. You will be driving and sustaining a culture in which branch teams will be spending more time with customers to create and sustain customer relationships. While doing this, you will be ensuring risk and control measures are applied through consistency within branches and creating a sustainable and effective cost culture.

For this role you will already have an awareness and understanding of the Financial Services Market from your track record in retail banking or financial sales roles, ideally this will include experience of remote management in field-based roles. Determination to outperform everything else on the high street should be a priority as you look to build on an already impressive record of outstanding achievement and success. An assertive and results-orientated team player you will need a positive attitude and clear opinions to succeed. Your strong communication and negotiation skills will help you influence and direct all staff members across your region.
