The Custom Brand Experience EMEA Team is the team responsible for delivering custom advertising experiences – one-of-a-kind ads, unique site experiences and interactive advertiser content and modules integrated into Yahoo! properties. Our goal is to create ad experiences that engage users and please advertisers in an efficient, scalable way. We build revenue-generating user experiences, and we do it on-time and on-budget. The Custom Brand Experiences team is looking for a Project Manager who can lead development of compelling “WOW” experiences for advertisers that are also scalable and reusable. This position requires someone who is passionate about great advertising and great online user experience, deeply familiar with online brand advertising and who can balance the needs of advertisers, users, and content producers from a variety of properties, as well as understand the under-pinning technologies required to make our work efficient, scalable and reusable.
Responsibilities:
The role of Project Manager will sit within the CBE EMEA team, focused on managing the end-to-end delivery of Custom Brand Experience projects, for EMEA based (Europe, Middle East and Africa) clients.
The Project Manager will lead a highly talented cross functional project teams to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of high quality products which meet and exceed advertiser or business requirements as well as defined quality metrics.
This role requires active partnering with various internal and external (e.g. Media Agencies) partners to identify and remove any barriers to the “cross functional” team’s performance. |

Experienced in technical project management, especially using agile iterative methods.
Technical Degree (or equivalent) from a leading University
Solid technology experience in a media/web/consulting/client-facing IT development/project management position
Experience in managing development teams.
Experience in managing multiple projects (of up to 10 people) with competing priorities.
An excellent understanding of the project life cycle and development process.
Good knowledge of internet technology
Experience in facilitating meetings with cross-functional teams
Business sense and knowledge of business finances
Issue and risk management capability
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Strong, clear communication skills
Must work well in a team
Exceptional organisational ability
