An outstanding opportunity exists for a Project Geophysicist to join the Rio Tinto Exploration Team based at the headquarters in London.
The role involves giving high quality geophysical support to a variety of exploration projects throughout Africa and Eurasia. The incumbent will be expected to provide high quality input to multi-commodity programmes ranging from area selection to resource delineation. The role will require the ability to work within the project teams and to become an integral part of the exploration process. The role will also be expected to participate in the Global geophysical team and to contribute to the sharing of best practice within the Rio Tinto Group.
