The Networking Product Marketing/Business Manager is a key member of the Regional Enterprise Marketing/Product Management team – He/She owns the comprehensive understanding of the Networking LOB market & solutions portfolio competitive situation as well as the aggressive accountability and resolution of Networking LOB related issues across Segment Marketing, Sales & PG – He/She is regarded as the focal point for the Networking LOB business
PURPOSE OF THE JOB - PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Leverage Networking LOB strategy and drive engagement with segment/country marketing and sales leadership to achieve quarterly and annual business targets (Revenue/Units/Margin) · Work with Segment Marketing & PG to trigger flawless, high-impact product launches with effective solution & sales readiness including the existence from peer organizations of internal/external communication & Marketing visibility, efficient deliverables/sales tools, actionable messaging/positioning, and appropriate Training (L&D, FPMs) strategies & content. · Engage with functional peers to help optimize pricing, ensure forecast accuracy and coordinate alignment with Segment Marketing on current product and upcoming launches. · Drive Networking LOB focus and engage with segments to provide Networking LOB strategy/priorities guidance and recommendations to help influence the design & delivery of Segment Marketing activities & programs · Review product PFGs and BCs, drive a highly-engaged feedback process with Segments, provide input to PG on key investment priorities, to help ensure a compelling product and solution portfolio (alignment w/ customer feedback). · Regularly monitors Business performance (vs plan i.e., TRU/TMU, mix, etc) and analyzes Networking LOB health metrics (vs mkt/ opportunity i.e., share, growth) using multiple data sources (IDC, Gartner, EMS, Context) - recommend strategies to improve and optimize LOB performance. Analysis should include recommendations on improving LOB performance with currently shipping Products as well as any future solutions needed to become more competitive. · Operationalize XTV (DTV/PTV/STV/MTV) across all products. · Coordinate strategic activities with the key EMEA partners (Cisco, Brocade, Juniper …) · Ensure the above is carried out through constant interaction with EMEA Product Lifecycle Managers, Country Product Managers, segment Marketing Managers/Directors, Product Group and Sales force leadership teams |

· 8-10 years minimum experience in Enterprise IT product/sales/marketing/program management role ideally focused on networking solutions and/or complex enterprise solutions.. · Highly knowledgeable about the Networking (applies to Ethernet, FC, and Converged Fabric ) technologies and products/solutions including competitive positioning and market trends. · Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong written and oral communications skills, exemplary selling skills, and good time management skills. · Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality · Ability to cope with change and make sound paradigm shifts in order to achieve group goals and objectives · Exercises leadership and understands and exhibits teaming abilities · Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience · Must be comfortable with MS office tools |
