The role will include following;
Financial Modelling
Utilize and further develop financial modelling skills to model full P&Ls, cashflow statements, balance sheets for individual companies and for pro forma entities; utilize financial modelling skills to accomplish DCF, multiple-based, and M&A-based valuation analyses; utilize and further develop accountancy understanding.
The individual will also have responsibility for the integrity of financial data across the franchise and the linkage of analyst models to the UBS financial database. The role will also include utilization and/or modelling of other sector and other company data, including long-term drug demand projections, etc.
The individual will have chief responsibility for completing quantitative client requests.
Research Publications
-Provide support to analysts on key stocks, including first drafts of key research notes
-Support website and/or interactive models (including marketing of these products to clients directly)
-Liaison with SAs/production/compliance on research in production
-Establish and develop writing and numerical skills via processing of internal and external clients requests on the sector
-Assist in the preparation of other material (for example, bespoke questions for buy side analyst meeting, questions for sales for management meetings)
PowerPoint Research Presentations
-Creation and updating of external client presentations based on existing research and ideas
-Produce first draft of PowerPoint presentations for senior analyst presentation for research
-Present to clients on topics such as website or interactive models to develop
-There will be a possible opportunity for client servicing etc in the medium term

-Good communication skills, with foreign language skills a plus. |
