Partner Marketing Manager
The Partner Programs Manager role is responsible for driving satisfaction, Microsoft Partner Network (MPN)attainment goals, and utilization of Microsoft Partner Program (MSPP) benefits/offerings through relevant and targeted to-partner communications, a rich partner online experience and related partner platform tools. These must focus on communicating the value of the Microsoft relationship through driving strategic initiatives and messaging around the value of membership of MPN, innovation, Peer to Peer /community, partner profitability and Software+Services. This should support relevant Microsoft technologies, services and product plans and priorities.

This role is critical to the success of our overall partner plan (specifically ecosystem health), with responsibility for driving deployment and uptake of training offerings amongst our UK partners. In addition, the role will incorporate our executive partner engagement strategy, so consistent use of all our communications vehicles - as well as the development of our strategy for leveraging the Executive Briefing Centre (EBC) will be central to the role. Finally, as our business model moves to a new phase, this role will take responsibility for working with the Emerging Channels team - ensuring our cloud offerings are positioned appropriately to our breadth partner audiences.

Finally, as a part of the team responsible for the launch of the new Microsoft Partner Network, this role will be an active part of the overall launch virtual-team

You will:
Build / have a detailed understanding of the market environment and partner needs, perceptions and competitive challenges in order to act as the voice of the partner, engaging closely with the partner sales community in Microsoft
Understand the links between partner communication and action - clearly demonstrating the ability to drive change amongst a breadth audience

Key Success Criteria
Partner adoption and use of our most recent technology
Increased usage of digital distribution across our partner base
Building of new and innovative approaches to internal and external deployment measures - as well as leverage of existing EBC infrastructure for partner executive engagement
Increased partner satisfaction as a result of our extensive training offerings (sales, technical, marketing, commercial, licensing)
Consolidation of all partner listening forum outputs - along with consistent delivery against strategy
Influence on achievement of our Microsoft Partner Network re-enrollment and revenue numbers through training and readiness compliance requirements
Attainment of partner competency targets through the driving of market-place up-take of readiness and training
Successful cross-group collaboration in building and executing plans for readiness, deployment and executive engagement
Demand generation campaign success metrics demonstrated through partner behavior changes
Partner satisfaction and measurable positive experience as a result of all activities
Internal success metrics, e.g. briefing deadlines, communication etc
Qualifications: Bachelors
Experience: 7 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1) Essential Experience
Working in a Channel environment / breadth engagement
Business to business marketing with close sales engagement
“Broadcast” demand generation and relationship marketing activity
Knowledge of all elements of the marketing mix, along with interest and experience in use of
social media
Ability to leverage and build clear processes to support business requirements
Management of projects & campaigns in a matrix management environment / v-team leadership

2) Technical /Functional Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven v-team leadership
Strong understanding of broadcast marketing & sales models
Microsoft business practices and systems
CRM processes and tools such as Siebel

Degree-level education / equivalent
