We are looking for a smart, pro-active person with a passion for books. As a Books Site Merchandiser you will be responsible for creating compelling content - mostly editorial content, with some audio and video; running email programs, with a view to increasing traffic and sales; providing detailed reporting and analysis on sales, content and promotions; and recommending additional activities that drive Amazon's books sales.
You will use our in-house content management systems to: - Manage product-specific data - reviews, cross-promotion etc - Maximise features and price promotions through intelligent merchandising and analysis - Improve the books email channel through smart product selection and analysis - Generate promotional and site improvement ideas and manage their implementation - Analyse and report on activities in order to maximise results and customer experience
Key responsibilities include: - Improving discovery and increasing conversion through product content coverage and implementation of promotional content - Using in-house reporting systems to identify areas of opportunity to grow Amazon's businessRefining and optimising merchandising, as well as testing new initiatives - Ensuring content conforms to site standards, co-op commitments, and promotional requirements - Maximising customer experience on the Books site - Driving sales and traffic through site and emails - Being the primary contact for publishers with regards to onsite, email and reporting processes |
