Market Data Vendor Manager
The Market & Reference Data Strategic Vendor Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing of data products and service at the most favorable total cost of ownership. Responsibilities include opportunity assessment; spend analysis, business analysis, product analysis, gathering of business requirements, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship management

- Interpersonal skills to elicit pertinent information from stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
- In-depth knowledge of Market Data products and services
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey perspectives and analysis to stakeholders
- Commercial contract knowledge

Principal Accountabilities:
- Manage data relationships and negotiate related agreements
- Proactively manage process of implementing sourcing relationships
- Work with legal to attain beneficial commercial terms and mitigate business risk
- Track and communicate industry trends and market intelligence
- Communicate to clients the commercial obligations stemming from assigned sourcing contracts
- Work with manager to develop and manage strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost efficiencies, while maintaining the highest possible levels of service
Qualifications: Bachelors
Experience: 7 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

- Minimum 5 years of prior Market Data contract negotiation experience with data vendors and stock exchanges
- Exceptional customer/business support skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be organized, detail orientated, responsive and be able to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
- Effective management of tasks
- Ability to network and influence others without direct oversight and supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and build strong relationships with internal clients and data sources
