Manager, Treasury Accounting
Treasury Accounting comprises a team of 5 staff and is responsible for all financial reporting on the bank’s Treasury business, from preparation of daily trader P&L’s through to monthly management accounts and the annual financial report, together with all accounting notes and disclosures.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
• Supporting one of three Treasury desks with the production of a daily profit and loss statement. Intention would be to gain experience of all three over time.
• Assist in the production of monthly management report covering balance sheet, profit and loss and compliance issues.
• Assist in the production of year-end financial statements with all required disclosures and notes.
• Develop understanding of IFRS accounting standards for financial instruments including the hedge accounting requirements of IAS 39 and perform testing of hedge relationships.
• Assist in ensuring that his/her accounting team meets compliance with the Bank’s ‘Internal Controls Framework’.

Accounting cert. (chartered accountant (ACA))

• Newly qualified, graduate chartered accountant (ACA).
• Knowledge of fixed income and derivative products.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on excel.
• Experience with Summit, SAP R3 and SAP AFI systems a distinct advantage.
• Fluent English language skills.
