Logistics Process Analyst
•Responsible for assessing the impact of corporate and above sites initiatives on Import/Export Shared Service (IESS) and DHL ensuring business continuity and minimising risks to the business
•Effectively leading and supporting Operational Excellence
and Change Management Projects, linking to Process, Data,
Systems, DHL and other streams as identified by the Compliance Manager
•Co-ordinating the organisation and execution of process workshops to drive progress on key initiatives
•Supporting, leading and influencing internal and external stakeholders, to cover the remit of process/data change; including Global Logistics, Supply & Demand Shared Services, Trading Partners Organisation, Managers in DHL and the IESS Relationship Manager
•Ensuring appropriate monitoring of IESS internal operations and DHL performance within agreed parameters and metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities
•Assessing and leading project activity for the IESS/DHL process utilising project management methodology
• Supporting and where appropriate leading the management of Change Control export process both internal to the department and across Trading Partners
•Responsible for the creation and maintenance of IESS Standard Operating Procedures as required as departmental process experts, in alignment with Global Logistics Policies and Procedures
•Supporting Training activities in the preparation and delivery of training for IESS and DHL to include : Processes, Standard Operating Procedures, Training materials embedding best practices ways of working.
•Ensuring IESS and DHL maintain ongoing audit preparation and compliance in conjunction with Global Logistics Quality Management System, GxP and Financial compliance requirements
•Responsible for escalating issues as appropriate and within timely manner.

•Demonstrated experience in logistics, customer service, production
•Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
•Demonstrated ability to analyse and improve processes across the Supply Chain
•Knowledge of Operational Excellence principles, methodology and its application
•Sound negotiating/influencing skills
•Strong Relationship builder
•Able to communicate at all levels including senior level of GSK and external parties
•Good relevant logistical systems knowledge eg. JDE, MGX, Babel…
•Sound understanding of GSK/GMS business objectives
•Project Management skills
•Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally and across culture
