We are looking for a strong, self motivated Lead Qualification Agent to join our Enterprise Sales Team based in London, reporting into the UK Sales Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible to drive lead generation efforts and engage discussion in order to generate new highly qualified opportunities that will be distributed among Territory Managers. In this role, you will qualify contact information, needs and product interest of leads generated by direct marketing campaigns in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Middle east & Africa. In addition, you will work closely with Territory Managers to research and qualify additional key contacts among their accounts using the web as well as cold calling techniques. You will be responsible to develop a prospects list, gather intelligence on markets and industry news (key players, competitors, events, press, etc.) and give feedback to the regional Sales Director and the Marketing team. Other key responsibilities of the Lead Qualifier will be to maintain the CRM system (Siebel On Demand), update and work closely with the EMEA Sales Coordinator to track and improve results of direct marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will be a resourceful, sales-oriented and motivated individual with a high level intellectual curiosity, especially towards the use of the Internet and cloud-based services for Enterprise businesses, their employees, partners, and customers. This is predominately a telephone-based lead qualification position.

•Execution of campaigns and determination to make 50 to 60 outbound cold calls per day (3 hours talk time)
•Aggressive generation of new highly qualified leads within assigned area
•Profile prospective new customers' current IT security needs and introducing the company's products and services.
•Professionally motivate prospective new customers to schedule an appointment with a representative of the most appropriate sales channel.
•Entering all prospective customer contact information into CRM
•Keep prospects and clients databases up to date
•Create new prospect lists researching the internet or any other relevant sources that will help identifying new customers for any product included in VeriSign's product portfolio.
•Continuously assist the sales team with duties related to general sales administration and customer relationship management.
•Potentially manage a reduced base of small enterprise customers
•Develop professional company image
Qualifications: Bachelors
