To provide proactive operational support as part of Annuity JES support team in Spine. Working from our customerssites. Leasing with and developing positive relationships with the customer and other Oracle teams, to ensure that Oracle is able to continuously meet or exceed the agreed SLA's.
The JES administrator will Ideally have worked on the National Programme before. If not, Corporate or National solution delivery experience on a large programme is required. They need to have a thorough understanding of how applications interact in a large systems environment with multiple technologies and complex networks, they will have experience deploying in-house and 3rd party applications into complex environments in a disciplined manner. Coming from a Unix systems administration background but they have moved on from these positions into more technical roles requiring a more in depth knowledge of the current JES technologies.
Provide 3rd line service support for all components of the Spine JES stack Provide 3rd line support for all 3rd party products included in the Spine service supported by Sun. Proactively identify problems and propose both tactical and strategic solutions within Application and Infrastructure domains. Installing the Application Server 8 in webless and webfull environments Managing Sun MQ 3.6 Installing web connector Configuring the application server with the database Configuring the application server with LDAP Configuring load balancing Installing and configuring Java System Process Manager Creating a J2EE process application using the Java System Process Manager APIs Managing the Sun[TM]ONE Directory Server includes: Creating, deleting, and modifying iDS objects, using both the command line utilities, the SunONE Console, and the Directory Server Gateway Administering user data with an LDIF file Creating customized ACI's Configuring password policies for Directory Server Work on complex incidents (Service impacting issues & ongoing problems) |
