Within Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB), you will join as a VIE, the ITEC (Information Technologies) Department in charge of providing other departments with the Information System support. More precisely, you will be a member of The Services and Applications Support Department (SAS), represented by 200 people in Europe , and 50 around the world (New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong). As the ITEC/PRD representative in London, you will work on transversal support of the trading floor in relation with Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office people.
Your role As a Support Analyst, your main responsibilities will be to: •Support the users of the Investment Banking Division on Derivative's applications. You will act as the main contact point for the Paris and London teams on behalf of his Business Line. •Ensure the continuity of the business by a strong relationship with the local helpdesk-support team, the infrastructure teams and SAS Paris, among the on going support of the trading cycle. •Guarantee a high level of service & quality by industrializing the different processes, by participating to the local and global projects and by communicating about it. •Make available the knowledge of his local activity by promoting and updating specific documentation.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance. The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Graduate from Engineering School or University, you have a good command of Unix & Linux, Windows, Databases (Sybase/Oracle). Your knowledge on the following will make a difference : Java, C++, Scripting, Tibco, Network. Your functional knowledge about the Market places will be a plus. You are fluent in English. Another European languages will be a plus. Adaptable, with a real sense of organization, your high level of autonomy will allow you to be successful in your relation with the different support leaders. Tenacious and results-oriented, you have analytical skills and the ability to summarize key messages and deal with exposure to risk. Your Open-mindedness and curiosity as well as your client-driven approach and service oriented will make the difference. |
