We are looking for an IT Data Analyst to monitor and influence the delivery of IT services across the Surface Ships Business Group. The jobholder should take responsibility for cost savings and continuous improvement through effective IT solutions. Ensuring that IT requests/queries are resolved in an effective manner is a key component of this role. As an IT Data Analyst your main responsibilities will involve: Control of Software Licence Management (SLM). Responsible for monitoring SLM reports, analysing data, investigating software installs and purchasing relevant licences to meet any exposure. Provide ongoing support to ensure all future software purchased has appropriate licence. Represent SURFACE SHIPS on SLM reviews / certification / application portfolio. This will include maintenance of existing Rolling Renewals Report with additional licence details, approval of relevant renewals and raising any additional software maintenance to SMPT team. Ensure overhead requirements are managed/optimized. IT Catalogue Management. This involves controlling content of the SURFACE SHIPS Catalogue to meet the needs and expectations of the business. Also required to represent SURFACE SHIPS at monthly IT Provisioning meetings and filter the information from these meetings appropriately across the SURFACE SHIPS IT procurement population. Monitor and improve desktop refresh process across the Surface Ships fleet. All IT assets are replaced within timescales to ensure all assets are replaced within timescales to ensure support and legal entitlement to software is maintained with no impact to the end user. You'll require a strong sense of urgency with the drive and commitment to see tasks to a conclusion. |
