Inventory Manager Grade PS5
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Manager based at our site in Prestwick. The successful applicant will be required to manage the Inventory team based on site, focusing on Demand Planning, Inventory Valuation and Inventory Optimisation across our saleable and fixed assets. This is a key role as far as maintaining service levels across our continuing spares business and Power by the Hour programmes is concerned and the job holder has responsibility for determining inventory holding levels in line with customer requirements, and affordability for the business.

As an Inventory Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
Management of our inventory levels to optimise service levels in line with customer requirements and affordability.
Managing our fixed asset rotable pool availability to ensure availability in support of our contractual agreements.
Delivering an inventory holding strategy.
Developing an inventory disposition strategy.
Managing blocked stock to optimise inventory availability.
Implementation of appropriate controls to manage.
Management of advance stock provisioning profiles in line with inventory movements.
Qualifications: Bachelors
Experience: 3 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

The job holder should have a strong analytical background.
Previous managerial experience in a demand planning capacity is desirable.
The job holder should ideally be educated to HND / Degree level.
Previous demand planning experience in the service industry is preferable.
The job holder will be experienced in IT applications that support inventory optimisation.
A high level of personal organisation is required as are good communication skills.

The successful candidate will be confident and capable of independent problem solving and developing solutions to various detailed working level problems and applying these within the workplace. Also the following personal skills would be highly desirable; Analytical, IT Literate, Organised and have good communication skills.
