Founded in 2003, Right Media is a Yahoo! company based in New York, with offices in London, San Francisco, Miami, Hamburg, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. As a Yahoo! owned entity, the Right Media Exchange remains a distinct brand and continues to expand and operate independently. The Right Media Exchange, is the World’s largest advertising exchange. The Exchange is an open platform for interactive display advertising and is at the forefront of new developments within the digital marketing space. All buyers and sellers in the exchange are interconnected on a common platform, have equal access to media and trade it seamlessly. Today, more than 100,000 advertisers, publishers and networks trade digital media with total efficiency on the Right Media Exchange across 83 countries.

Responsibilities:
The Head of Sales for Right Media will be responsible for overseeing and developing the overall pipeline of new clients to be signed as clients of the Right Media Exchange across EMEA. This will include team management of three people setting objectives, strategy and tactics) as well as ongoing feedback and to ensure the new biz team exceed their targets.
The Head of Sales will also be responsible for directly signing key clients as well as acting as an ambassador for RM talking to the digital community to ensure RM is front of mind with all key prospective clients. The Head of Sales will have a proven experience of solutions and tech/IT selling, within the Internet advertising market. Strong knowledge of market dynamics for key markets within the EMEA region, experience of team management and motivation and strong industry contacts.

This role will be based in London and will be focussed on developing Exchange membership in our key markets with the EMEA region. The candidate will help build and oversee the EMEA pipeline identifying those partners who fit the ideal client profile and who will bring added value to the Exchange.

Sales process will involve email and phone liaison as well as face to face meetings with senior executives. The person in this role will need to act as an ambassador for the Right Media Exchange by talking to key influencers, agencies and publishers.

The candidate and their team will be responsible for all elements of the sale from initial call through to contract signing, including in depth, technical product demonstrations. The role will involve meeting and signing Agencies and leading Publishers as well as attending industry events.

Right Media sales professionals are not assessed on sheer bulk of new clients signed, but rather on the strategic value that each new client brings to the Exchange. To this end the Head of Sales will need to know the sales strategy inside out to ensure they and their team spend their time focussing on the most valuable prospects in each market.
