Head of Exposure Management
The Risk Control Operations (RCO) team operates as a business support and change function, supporting all aspects of Credit and Market Risk Control’s technology and business process change.
RCO is composed of RCO Support & Data Management Team, RCO Change Team and RWA & Exposure Management Team. This role will form part of the London based EAD and Exposure Management team within RWA & Exposure Management. The EAD and Exposure Management team is responsible for all counterparty related controls and processes, assessing the impact that proposed changes have on production systems and recommending and detailing changes to address deficiencies.

A role exists for a team lead to manage the EAD and Exposure management team (1 production and 2 exposure analysts).

The teams key responsibilities include:
• Business leads for UBS Limited; validating daily movements
• Validating and providing transparency around large exposure movements day-on-day
• Business sponsors for the exposure explain tool Xvol. Responsibility includes supporting strategic changes and roll up of Xvol into strategic platforms.
• Responsible for monitoring and validating all PCE (Risk Control’s credit exposure engine) controls
• Responsible for defining and building future state PCE / Risk Analytics exposure controls
• Support all system releases by reviewing all exposure related Impact analysis and providing approval.
Qualifications: Bachelors (business or finance)
Other Certification (Six Sigma or Lean Sigma)
Accounting cert. (CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst))
Experience: 10 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

• Experience at a financial institution preferably within a Credit and/or Market control environment.

• Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Candidate or full member.
• Six Sigma or Lean Sigma qualifications.
