Head of Brand , PR & Communications
· Brand : Own the new Gumtree.com Brand identity, roll out the Brand across key touch points , Create brand guidelines for internal and external stake holders to use (design, product, creative agencies, PR agencies), create key brand collateral for use in communications.
· Campaigns: Create cross-channel campaigns to meet marketing objectives, work with partners/stake holders/agencies to define & agree scope of campaigns (target audience, key message, media & channels, assets/collateral required , timings & ownership,) , co-ordinate to ensure delivery of Campaigns, evaluate results, communicate results to stakeholders
- Advertising : Work with Media agencies to create and sign off media plan that meets business goals, work with creative agencies to produce collateral, execute campaigns, measure performance & report, provide feedback
- PR : Align PR strategy with brand, work with PR agency to generate/evaluate proposals & coordinate execution, measure performance & report, provide feedback
· Internal Communication : Own internal communications to ensure visibility of marketing activities within the organization

This is a very high profile role with full ownership of the Brand, Integrated Marketing Campaigns & PR and carries great responsibility and visibility within the organization.

Experience: 15 years +

· 10+ years as a marketer, 5+ years client side
· Must have owned at least two of these areas - Brand , MarComms or PR – for 2+ years each, ideally for a multi-national brand or for a brand with a strong regional presence
· Must have supervised the launch or re-launch of a Brand , being responsible for planning & execution
· Must have handled above-the-line marketing budgets over $5 Mn p.a.
· Must have a strong understanding of response-driven marketing OR
· Must have a proven track record of generating demand through word -of-mouth & PR
· Must be a team player, used to working with resources from other teams, must be able to influence senior stakeholders
· Must be an excellent communicator, must be able to draft and review press releases and site content, must be comfortable with briefing agencies and internal stake holders
· Must have strong project management skills, including planning, stake holder management and quality control .
