I. Job Responsibilities: a. Sales & Relationship Management Duties
- Manage existing lease, loan and/or card programs (“Programs”) to ensure competitiveness within the marketplace and our industry. - Promote Programs within all applicable sales channels – Apple Retail, Apple Online Store, Resellers, and Apple Direct Sales (Education, Enterprise,, Named Account) (Collectively known as “Businesses”) - Work with Business sales, operations and marketing leaders to build and maintain strong, influential and collaborative business relationships to drive AFS volume while supporting their sales efforts. - Drive Program volume to reduce interchange expense and maximize midterm upgrade opportunities; Maximize Fee Income (Commission applied to volume) to hit AFS quarterly targets. - Work with lenders to ensure excellent customer service for Apple’s customers; develop new product and promotional opportunities; continuously improve service levels and product terms and hold quarterly business reviews to monitor success factors - Create incentive programs for Apple and Reseller sales personnel to drive volume and fee income to hit quarterly goals. Work with Businesses to share cost and distribute messaging – training and collateral.
b. Marketing and Training Duties - Working with appropriate parties (Apple MarComm and/or Lenders), create and distribute supporting Program collateral and promotional emails, datasheets, web pages and tiles, etc. Develop and/or enhance AFS web pages to promote Programs internally and externally. Continuously monitor, review and provide feedback to MarComm and/or Businesses on effectiveness of AFS representation on the web. - Work with Businesses to develop training materials and collateral. Obtain Business feedback on Program effectiveness and make appropriate changes. Conduct quarterly Business reviews to gauge satisfaction.
c. Project Management and reporting - Develop new Programs as needed by the Businesses. New countries requiring financing programs; customer sectors needing better products and/or response to the competition – all may be reasons for new Program development. - Deliver reporting as required by Business, AFS and Finance management. Volume, Fee Income, Penetration Rate, Upgrades, Response Times, Approval Rates, etc., are to be delivered on an as-needed basis in coordination with AFS Reporting in Cupertino. Work with AFS Marketing Specialist to ensure compliance with new web reporting and interface tools. |

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financing programs (consumer finance and/or business lease). Excellent communication, people and project management skills are essential as is the ability to influence and perform the role of program ambassador at all times. Excellent marketing experience and cross-functional management experience Strong financial analysis skills, including EMEA focused expertise She/He will also have a good understanding of Online Store environment and system integration Fluent in English and at least one additional European language (French, Italian and Spanish) is required. Minimum BA in business related degree. MBA preferred |
