The role is for an outstanding professional to join the IT Audit Team within the UBS Group Internal Audit Department, based in London. The role reports direct to the Head Global AM IT Application audit, and primarily involves:
• Providing application audit support to the Global AM Business Audit team.
• Leading Global AM IT project audits, themed audits of Global AM IT processes (e.g. user access, business continuity), and supporting IT production audits which impact the Global AM environment.
• Supporting the Head Global AM IT Application audit in developing and preparing the annual Macro Risk Assessment, the quarterly Anticipatory Auditing submission and other adhoc reports. |

Communication skills – Has the ability to write clearly and concisely, establish effective relationships, influence others, conduct interviews and/or meetings, make presentations with impact.
Analytical skills – Must posses excellent analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of internal controls over key IT risks, identify significant exposures, analyse transactions and other management information and detect changes in key risks and/or control effectiveness. Develop appropriate recommendations to address exposures.
Technical Skills – Must possess:
• Detailed understanding of IT application control issues / risks. Asset Management business knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
• Detailed technical knowledge with respect to databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL) and operating system environments (e.g. WIntel, Unix).
In addition, a good understanding is required of (i) network and Web-based technology, and (ii) basic IT infrastructure control issues.
