Defines the strategy and coordinates operational quality risk management for Pharmacovigilance/Safety in Roche Pharma.
Provides high-level strategic planning and ongoing leadership on global regulatory GCP/PV requirements to appropriate business partners in Roche Pharma and to other Roche functions.
Provides leadership and direction to the Quality Area and coordinates the Safety Quality Area Teams ensuring that there are no gaps and minimal overlaps and optimal synergies in their activities.
Ensures liaison with other Quality Risk Areas (Clinical and Enterprise) for optimal safety risk coverage
Actively contributes to the overall company strategy of improving quality.
Ensures that Safety quality issues are addressed in a timely and thorough manner and that relevant management functions in Roche Pharma are kept informed.
Liaises closely with the Safety department to support all safety related activities proactively and in line with the Quality Risk Management Strategy for Safety. |

Demonstrated knowledge of GCP, (GLP, GMP), pharmacovigilance / drug safety and regulatory requirements as they pertain to systems / procedures adopted within, and / or related to, Roche Pharma in the conduct of their business.
Proven project-management skills and ability to work effectively in an international multicultural matrix organization.
Proven line management, leadership, mentoring and coaching skills is a plus.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proven good communication skills with an international perspective.
Global thinking and having ability to succeed in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in English, knowledge of another European and / or Asian language is desirable.
