FX is a bank-to-customer platform that is part of the Bloomberg Professional Service offering. To address the continuing growth of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FX professional to join the FX Trade Desk at Bloomberg. The FX Trade Desk is a global team responsible for buy side and sell side client integration services, in addition to daily trade support. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding, client-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of Bloomberg¿s STP offerings and capabilities for both buy-side and sell-side to explain and guide customers to best implementation to meet their business needs
- Liaise with buy-side and sell-side customers, in addition to OMS and TMS vendors as project manager for STP implementation
-Configuration, enablement, beta testing and production release for integration projects
- Ongoing FX Trade Support, developing
- Develop ongoing knowledge of platform and FX market happenings to troubleshoot and identify system issues
In addition, this role will work closely with Sales, Business and R&D. The successful candidates(s) will be detail oriented, focused and capable of managing all aspects of the position pertaining to his/her region. |

- Foreign Exchange market knowledge and experience with a trading platform, OMS/TMS or integration project management is a pre-requisite
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and prioritize in demanding situations
-Advanced interpersonal and teamwork skills
-Knowledge/experience with FX trade life cycle and STP workflow
-Knowledge of FIX protocol, light programming and/or technical aptitude is beneficial |
