Bloomberg's Global Execution Business is expanding and we therefore have an exciting opportunity within the Fixed Income Electronic Trading (FIT)Implementation Team.
FIT Implementation is a project management role tasked with rolling out integration projects for both sellside dealers who want to offer liquidity on the Bloomberg platform and buyside customers who want to click & trade with the dealers.
Sellside dealers integrate their pricing & trading engines with our platform via proprietary Bloomberg APIs. We also provide them with FIX & FTP solutions for trade reconciliation and allocations.
Buyside customers integrate their Order Management Systems with our platform via FIX to be able to stage orders onto Bloomberg and route them to various dealers for execution and allocation.
The FIT Implementation team also works on integration to post-trade platforms such as Markitwire.
As a project manager you will work with various internal teams within Bloomberg as well as both business and technical contacts within our customer. You will be responsible for accounts in London and elsewhere in the EMEA region.
Much of the work is desk based with client interaction via phone & email but client visits with Sales and Business managers is also required.
Bloomberg is looking for candidates who have experience in a similar role within the financial markets. A proven track record in a customer facing project management role is essential. |

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Fluency in French, German, Spanish or Italian would be viewed favourably.
- Proven experience and/or knowledge of the Fixed Income trading.
- Multi-tasking skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail with strong problem solving and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of the industry standard FIX protocol. |
