Financial Data Associate EMTN
The EMTN Desk serves as an information centre for EMTN-related matters, and provides background research for material to be included in Special Comments that would relate to the EMTN market.

Responsibilities
To provide and coordinate a comprehensive business administration service to management and ratings analysts within EMTN Desk (European Medium Term Note Desk). The successful candidate will be focused on entering data for a specific issuance of notes off of an EMTN program and will be responsible for all administrative work related to that subset of deals. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover for team, in the event of absence and holidays, to ensure a seamless service to the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Data entry, maintenance, and management of data into Moody's core systems
- Deliver high level of service across a high volume of transactions
- Identify and create new issuance and assign the appropriate rating or symbol
- Responding to and resolving data inquiries from internal and external clients.
- Identify, research, collect and resolve issues involving data processing errors
- Identify and flag E/MTN's with variable promises
- Prepare, audit and release Rating Letters and track the letter dissemination process
- Liaising with Rating Analysts on a regular basis to update deal information in the database and respond to inquires.
- Handles various aspects of the rating relationship with existing issuers (request documents, verify market designation, etc.) within their respective portfolio by exercising discretion with minimal supervision
- Exercise discretion and judgment to communicate client requests and/or concerns to upper management as needed and relay feedback to clients
- Manage the ratings withdrawal process where appropriate
- Participate in various ongoing and ad hoc projects as necessary
- Responsible for bi-weekly team meeting agenda to brief management regarding issuance trends
- Participate in bi-weekly portfolio summaries/reviews.

Experience: 3 years +

Excellent standard of education including English and Mathematics

Strong administrator with excellent administrative skills
Relevant experience within a similar role, preferable in a Financial sector
Previous financial data or product experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of Structured Finance would be advantageous

Well developed IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to details
Ability to complete large number of processes
Highly organized and efficient
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
Works using own initiative and without close supervision
Strong problem solving skills
Fluent in English is essential. Fluent in another European language would be advantageous
