The purpose of the role is to ensure the integrity of the financial Information for BPSS Branch and small companies, adhering to group norms, IAS and regulatory reporting guidelines in the production of the financial accounts. The Finance Department exists to provide accurate timely, reliable financial management information and regulatory reporting. This support includes: -Financial Reporting -Financial Control -Accounts receivable -Accounts Payable -Management accounts -Business analytics and revenue
Reports to Finance Manager. Liaises with: Internal: -Banking Operations, TLM, Internal Control, Compliance (all business areas) -Paris Reporting and control teams -Various entity regarding inter-company -Bank of England reporting team
External: -Auditors -Consultants -FSA
Key Responsibilities -Production of Monthly financials (P&L, Balance sheet and assisted notes) -Production of Group reporting packs -Control account reconciliations to ensure data validity of the information. -Preparation from provision committee -Preparation of month end/year end accrual data -Variance analysis on ledger movements -Supporting the Finance manager in implementing new product accounting schemes. -Production of statutory branch tax accounts -Production of FSA returns quarterly |
