The Equity Business group in London is seeking highly motivated and experienced individual to be a part of our Equity Business Development team. This individual will be part of an exciting business unit at the heart of the Bloomberg Professional Terminal.
Applicants should possess a deep body of knowledge and a strong background in equity research, trading, portfolio management, quantitative research, or security analysis.
The individual will share responsibilities in all areas of the core equity business, which includes the following: identifying market and business opportunity, establishing a strategic plan to capitalize on opportunity, designing business and functional requirements for development projects, identifying critical financial data sets and overseeing the current status, and future growth of the equity business.
The individual will work as part of a strong, global team of equity business managers. |

- Previous experience working in the equity markets or with a market data vendor
- Bachelors degree (Business Degree and/or CFA designation a plus) or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with a sales force and large customer base
- Strong financial market knowledge and industry contacts
- Project and business management experience
- Ability to work with multiple groups across reporting lines
- Excellent organisational, and presentation skills
- Bloomberg terminal experience would be an advantage
- Successful candidate must be willing to travel
- Experience with ESG/SRI investment strategies a plus |
