Cisco seeks a senior enterprise architect to join the Advisory Service practice. This individual provides leadership to customers in driving IT strategy and requirements, while influencing the customer's business strategy through technology enablement. Beginning with front-end strategy and planning, this individual will ensure the quality of the enterprise technical architecture through all phases of implementation. He or she will support engagement leaders by remaining focused on the big-picture technical implementation, the project purpose and client implications.
Main objectives of the role: - Influences and advises the engagement team and Program Manager to craft and deliver business value justification, solution architecture integration, business process change, IT/Business governance, and organizational change management. - He or she will be responsible for researching and documenting customer requirements based on defined services and/or application as well as identifying the hardware and software features required to implement the architecture including the mapping of features to services and/or application definitions. - Creates conceptual and logical architectures for the solution. The solution might include infrastructure, including network, data, middleware, applications, security, and OSS. He or she will be responsible for completing the technical design schedule, estimating the complexity and duration of technical tasks, and preparing risk assessment for program management. - Coordinates closely with an arbitrary number of parties from the customer, Cisco (across the company), partners and industry thought leaders in crafting and building the best technical and IT business architecture then leading its implementation. The individual can gain a high level of influence with senior members of the customer's management and may act in the role of executive coach in that regard. Applies thought leadership and influence in improving the practices of the services organizations at Cisco. |
