EMEA Retail Senior Finance Analyst
This role is part of the commercial team partnering the EMEA Retail channel business. The focus of the role is to provide insight and robust analysis into financial and operational issues, developing reporting frameworks, understanding variances to plan and adhoc analysis. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, and synthesizing output from those models for senior management. The role requires a person capable of challenging assumptions and offering a commercial point of view to the business.

Key focus areas for this role include ownership of the channel partner terms and conditions, including cost of sale analysis and providing commercial support for negotiations with pan-European retail groups, including ROI simulations and insight into long-run channel management strategy. This is a highly visible role and the growth opportunities are substantial for an outgoing and creative individual.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop strong collaborative working partnerships with EMEA Retail teams across Europe.
• Own the terms and conditions (be the resident expert) for all facets of channel partner analytics in the EMEA retail channel business, including the application of the T&C’s framework to new products and new business.
• Develop proposals (on request and using personal initiative) to the business for optimizing financial management in the retail channel, for instance, extracting savings in contract renegotiations.
• Provide the reporting team with designs and KPIs to build standardized, scalable, relevant and insightful operational reports to the Retail executive team. Ensure these reports are accurate week to week by reviewing before publication.
• Prepare the QBR and associated monthly and quarterly management reviews.
• Be a key contributor to return on investment evaluation in Retail investment decisions, and the business planning process.
• Responsible for preparing Pan-European account reviews
• Be involved in the ongoing development of business support systems
• Assist with preparation of Corporate and ad-hoc analysis requests, and work with product marketing in projects from time to time.
Qualifications: Bachelors
MBA
Accounting cert.
Experience: 7 years +
Languages: English : Speak / Write Fluently

• Qualified Accountant or MBA
• Minimum five years experience in FMCG sector or consulting background
• Experience in commercial management and presenting to senior executives
• Excellent systems skills including strong knowledge of Excel manipulation and SAP warehouse.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
