E-Commerce Senior Business Analyst
Responsible for the introduction of a Forex trading platform across ITEC/FIC, including scoping, design and construction of the project. Required to formulate an effective IT strategy in response to short and long term business objectives in consultation with Front Office as well as technical consultants. The incumbent will have previously delivered a similar requirement for a key player in the FX world.

Main responsibilities
• Delivery of project, either directly or via the team/external project managers, to budget.
• Development of high level pro-active client relationships.Maintenance of strong working relationships with e-commerce vendor systems.
• Provision of support to the business during ‘Increasing Flow’, ‘Optimising Trading’, ‘Platform Industrialisation’ phases.
• Production of accurate and meaningful Management Information and reporting and timely production of accurate and robust budgets that demonstrate full consideration of a wide range of options.
• Performance of thorough credit checking of clients.
• Responsible for functional architecture design and functional support to development teams in the implementation phases of the project.
• Preparation of post trade services (Allocations, Confirmation, SSI, Settlement processes (CLS, SWIFT, etc)
• Responsible for user change management and release version management.
• Also responsible for:
o Negotiation engine
o Margining
o Straight Through Processing
o FIX Protocol

• European Business is located both in Paris and in London, implementations in New York and Hong Kong as well.
• Time will be split between London and Paris offices; therefore some business travel will be required.

• Project management experience
• Development role in FX arena
• Exposure to global systems development or support
• Individual will have held or currently holds a Business Analyst or equivalent position on a FX distribution Platform project for a tier-1 bank.
• Technical background and experience in delivery of an electronic trading system – primarily in the FX arena working closely with FX Trading, Sales desks and e-commerce teams.
• Architectural design (from front end to back end)
• Strong skills in object orientated analysis and methodologies
