The Documentation Analyst will perform the Documentation activities of the European Treasury Centre (ETC) with maximum efficiency, optimum control and in accordance with Legal, Tax and Business Unit Partner requirements. These activities are defined as the Legal/Tax documentation required to support the Businesses and includes Guarantee and Bank Fee Administration. The Documentation Analyst will partner with Business Units, Financial Service Centres, Bank Relationship Managers, Business Analysts, and managers within the Global Treasury Function. The positions will have exposure and be influenced by external factors including banks, tax regulations, and Legal/Compliance regulations.
Principal Accountabilities
35 % Internet Banking / Factoring Documentation
1.) Check the wordings for clauses that could potentially expose Cargill to additional risk. This includes but is not limited to indirect/consequential losses, data protection, termination events and sharing of liability.
2.) Liaise with Legal Dept in respect of all documentation.
3.) Liaise with Business Unit and or Bank in respect of proposed changes to the documentation wording.
20% Bank Account Documentation
1.) Check all Bank account documentation received from Banks are in compliance with Cargill pre-agreed wording.
2.) Produce all documentation required for opening, closing and maintaining Bank accounts including Electronic Banking agreements.
3.) Review new/updated Bank account documentation with Legal Dept before signing.
4.) Liaise with Bank Relationship Manager/Legal Dept to ensure our Legal Dept's requirements are incorporated into new/updated documentation.
5.) Ensure all Authorised Signatory lists and Trading Resolutions are kept current and communicated to relevant banks.
6.) Maintain files of all account documentation
15% Guarantee Administration
1.) Liaise with Banks on issuance / amendment / cancellation of guarantees
2.) Ensure guarantee charges are accurate and settled in a timely manner
3.) Ensure Treasury guarantee database is kept current
4.) Maintain files of current / expired guarantees
5.) Ensure Guarantees/L/C's issued by other European Sites are reported to the ETC on a quarterly basis and fees are in line with Cargill standards.
6.) Ensure global 'Cargill Issued' Guarantee database is kept current for all locations serviced by ETC.
7.) Ensure 'Funding Entity guarantee' appendix of counterparties is kept current.
10% Bank Fee Administration
1.) Check all billing statement amounts are in compliance with the Cargill pre-agreed tariffs.
2.) Liaise with Banks on amendments/refunds due, as necessary.
3.) Maintain up to date records of fee amounts paid.
4.) Ensure bank fees on non-treasury managed bank accounts in the European region are in line with Cargill standards.
20% Miscellaneous
1.) Fully document all processes and controls
2.) Approval of Treasury generated payments
3.) Perform System Administrator functions on financial software packages
4.) Assistance with compiling bank fee and counterparty cash reports
5.) Raising of Internal documentation (Service Level Agreements & Master Financial Service Agreements) |

•Microsoft Office product skills essential.
•Language skills an advantage
