Debt capital market analyst - Financial Institutions - VIE London
Integrate Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking in London, and more precisely our DCM (Debt Capital Market) team for Financial Institutions. DCM is a department that helps corporate and other institutions to raise money through debt capital markets. You will have to perform the tasks of an Analyst and work alongside the other juniors to provide support to the senior originators of the team.

Your role
Your main responsibilities will be to assist the team in its commercial actions. Your regular tasks (but not limited) will include :
•Pitchbook production (mainly on bond issue proposals)
•Bondwatch (weekly market wrap-up on our market segment)
•Data crunching (for various purposes/analysis)
•Research
•Administrative tasks (weekly pipeline etc)
•Interacting with other business lines (such as syndicate, ratings advisory, structuring teams, traders etc)

You will also participate to the various internal meetings of the team such as our daily morning meeting where market trends are discussed, but also to our weekly meetings where the current marketing actions of the team are reviewed.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
You will receive an allowance to complete Ubifrance allowance.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Ubifrance’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Graduate from Business school or University, with major Finance/Capital markets, you already have a previous experience in investment banking.
You speak English fluently and other languages will be really much appreciated.
You are proficient in MS Office using, and PPT.
Your curiosity and your analytical skills, will help you to cope with a heavy flow of information linked to our activity.
Quality-oriented, with good communication skills, you will communicate efficiently with the team and the clients.
Finally, your team spirit will be very appreciated within the junior pool.
