Reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Leader for the European Apple Online Store, the candidate will help bring insights from Apple's customer database to drive business decisions and optimize communications.
The objective is to provide business intelligence about customers to drive critical executive decisions, as well as understanding customer behaviour.
This would be done by building models, adhoc reports and dashboards based on our web traffic, transactional and behaviour customer data.
The candidate will contribute by helping to produce forecasts, presentations, dashboards, reports and models (product purchase models, life-time value, lead scoring for telemarketing...) as well as extracting insight from existing reports.

- degree level education ideally in maths, business and statistics
- proven track record in this field
- proficiency in SAS, SQL & Excel
- Excellent English language

- Working experience in multi-national or US companies

- has statistical background
- has generated business intelligence and insights to improve profitability
- has used web applications for CRM reporting/analytics before: We use SAS, Unica, Business Objects, Omniture
- Experience with automation of reporting and dashboard building
- Experience at Quality Assurance in marketing databases and in fixing data problems
- Persuasive creative and analytical skills
- Intuitive and analytical thinking about problems before designing/delivering a solution
- has helped with DM segmentation and targeting.
- has helped with CRM reporting.
